-  bitComposer Games has granted the distribution rights for this PC adventure to Namco Bandai Partners  -

Eschborn/Frankfurt, July 1, 2010: Namco Bandai Partners will distribute the PC adventure Jekyll & Hyde in the German-speaking territories in a distribution agreement announced today. The classic adventure game, based on the world famous novel The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, was developed by the Weimar studio Pixelcage and is a joint production by bitComposer Games, Pixelcage and the Mitteldeutschen Medienförderung (Central Germany film subsidy body). The release date for Jekyll & Hyde is scheduled for September 3, 2010.

Jekyll & Hyde takes the player back to 19th century London. A sinister epidemic has been ravaging the population in the poor districts of the city for some weeks, which strangely enough does not seem to affect the children. As the young Dr. Jekyll desperately tries to find a cure, he stumbles on a serum that arouses his dark alter ego, Mr. Hyde. Alternately playing the role of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, the player sets out to find an antidote for the epidemic, and gradually uncovers the conspiracy of a mysterious sect, and his investigations lead him deeper and deeper into the secret London underworld.

Jekyll & Hyde will enthrall players with the classic adventure gameplay that combines elements of action and skill. The player assumes the role of the two main protagonists, and must use the different characteristics of the two game characters to solve the exciting puzzle, enigma and skill sections in the story. Dynamic camera moves enhance every game situation, and the view switches between a platform game and a 3rd version perspective. A mobile chemistry lab allows the player to brew the potion that will trigger his transformation, and gamers will also need this mini-lab to help them solve puzzles.

Jekyll & Hyde will be released on September 3, 2010 on Windows PC. For more information about Namco Bandai Partners and its product portfolio, please visit:
