bitComposer Entertainment and SevenEntertainment close a license deal
- "The Voice of Germany" is coming out as a video game at the beginning of the second season -
Eschborn, 12, July 2012:
For the second time, SevenEntertainment GmbH, the license, music, and entertainment branch of the ProSiebenSat.1 Group, and bitComposer Entertainment AG have closed a licensing deal. Together, the two companies will produce The Voice of Germany, a singing and party game based on the extremely successful music program of the same name airing on SAT.1 and ProSieben.
The DVD of the first season of the music program "The Voice of Germany" is already on the market, and fulfills all of the expectations of SevenEntertainment. With this licensing deal, the two firms are paving the way for this format's success story to continue in the field of video games as well. The Voice of Germany is coming out exclusively for Nintendo Wii™ right at the start of the second season.
These two companies can look back on their previous common endeavors with pride; working together, they have already delivered the German hit series Schlag-den-Raab, which was developed very closely with the TV show and has enjoyed impressive sales figures.
"We are proud to be able to look back on our successful three-year partnership with SevenEntertainment, which was characterized above all by mutual trust. We are very happy to be working together again on this extraordinarily successful and strong license, which will help us to sustainably strengthen our product portfolio," commented Oliver Neupert, director of bitComposer Entertainment.
